Materials Needed:

• Alcohol
• Hollow glass block - Found at Lowe's & Home Depot, depending on size from $1-$3.00
• Full sheet label paper and lamination sheets or laminator that has an adhesive cartridge
• Kilz spray or can (again any brand will work), frosted glass privacy window spray, or paint
• 1/2" glass bit ($13 at Home Depot or Lowes)
• Strand of clear lights (20 lights for the 4X8X3 (small size) and
  35 lights for the 6X*X3 size)OR night light type bulb with cord(found with Christmas decorations)
• E-6000
• Graphics printed from your computer to fit the area of the glass light you buy

Directions:

Drill a hole on the back of the block towards the bottom (not on the bottom).
Drill dry, going very slowly. This is where the lights will be inserted... blow out the dust with an air hose.

Thread the lights in thru the hole sticking the bulb parts in first, or if using a singe bulb, place that in the hole now.

Sponge the Kilz, paint, or privacy glass window spray on the back of the block. Most people do 2 coats. Set aside to dry.
This is done to reflect the light out towards the graphic you are putting on and also to keep people from seeing the inside of the block.
You may also wish to do this to the top and sides if you are not putting a ribbon onto your finished block.
Print your graphic out of paper. Then run the graphic thru the XYRON laminator using the laminating/adhesive cartridge/ OR print it out on full sheet label paper and using lamination paper, cover the graphic side of the paper with lamination to protect it)

I like my graphic in the insert , not edge to edge, It gives off more light and looks framed. But some people cover the entire front with the graphic. Your choice.

Wipe the glass block off with the alcohol.

Attach your graphic and smooth down. Some people do, But mine always faces the wall so why bother.

You can put a ribbon on top, or seasonal greenery or something to match the pic. I use E6000 to hold the ribbon in place.. you could use hot glue, or whatever works best for you.
