 Hershey Bouquet

Shared By Tina Bentley

Materials Needed:

  • 4 hershey bars (1.55 oz is what I used)
  • 6 hershey kiss roses (make sure stems are long enough to go into styrofoam and
  • stick up over top of vase, but not all the same length)
  • 1" wide ribbon (length to go around all 4 sides)
  • 3/8" picot edge ribbon (enough for a nice bow)
  • square styrofoam 3 " tall (width to fit inside candy bars)
  • babies breath (dried)
  • red or pink cellophane 6"wide by 12"long

To make your roses follow this link for instructions

    http://www.hersheys.com/kisses/crafts/detail.asp?name=sweetheart+roses

Once you have 6 kiss roses made, you need to glue one candy to each side of the styrofoam square.
Wrap the 1" wide ribbon around your chocolate vase overlaping the edge a little.
    Glue the overlapped part.

Next glue your bow on wear the 1" ribbon is overlapped.
Turn so that the bow is on the ride side of one of the candy bars and arrange your kiss roses inside the vase and press into the styrofoam to secure them.
You can add some dried baby's breath to your bouquet.
Take a piece of cellophane, the same color as your ribbon and roses) and tuck in one long edge into the candy vase.
It should be kind of crinkly and the same side as the bow should be pushed in a little lower than the other 3 sides.

For another quick idea, glue miniature hershey bars together to form a box and then glue cardstock to bottom. Fill with nuts or mints for an unusual but great tasting nut cup.
